Em sua visita a Cuba, Obama teve o descaro de dizer para Raúl Castro, em sua própria casa, que a diáspora cubana sofria o mal da saudade. Com isto tentou culpar a Revolução Cubana pela migração e não mencionou a Lei de Ajuste Cubano com a qual os Estados Unidos dá seus golpes baixos em Cuba para tentar fazer sumir toda a beleza daquele poema revolucionário.
